Trip Overview
An English Holiday is a 7-day, 6-night small-group journey for women through the lives of the queens, writers, scholars, and suffragettes who shaped England. It runs November 21-27, 2027, Thanksgiving week, and is limited to 8 women. You’ll travel from the villages of the Cotswolds and Georgian Bath to the libraries and colleges of Oxford, then on to London during the holiday season. You’ll stay in boutique hotels, with private guided touring and access you couldn’t arrange on your own.
Highlights include a private walking tour of Bath that follows the women who shaped the city, from the goddess Sulis Minerva to Jane Austen and Mary Shelley, and a stroll through Castle Combe on the way back to the Cotswolds. At Sudeley Castle, the home and resting place of Katherine Parr, you’ll have a behind-the-scenes tour and a private Champagne reception. In Oxford, a private guide takes you through the Bodleian Library and Christ Church College. In London, a suffragette walking tour through Westminster and the West End ends with afternoon tea, and your guide leads you through the festive markets before the farewell dinner.
