Trip Overview
Ireland's Wild Atlantic Way is an intimate 7-day luxury small-group journey through Ireland's most captivating landscapes, where medieval history, coastal beauty, and untold women's stories intertwine. Running May 30 to June 5, 2027, it moves from Kilkenny's infamous witch trials to the wild cliffs of the Atlantic coast, blending 5-star and boutique estate hotels with private guided tours, immersive storytelling, and sites that reveal a deeper, lesser-known Ireland. Designed for women seeking seamless travel and cultural immersion, it goes far beyond a typical Ireland tour.
Highlights include exclusive access to the private Anglo-Norman Curraghmore House with a personal tour, hawk demonstration, and lunch hosted by the Marquess and Marchioness of Waterford, an evening witch-trial walk through medieval Kilkenny, a full day on the scenic Ring of Kerry, a visit to Derrynane House (home of Daniel O'Connell), the Dingle Peninsula and Blasket Centre, and a champagne welcome lunch with a harp performance and spa time at Lyrath Estate. Traditional music, coastal walks, and literary and culinary heritage round out the journey. The pace is relaxed and indulgent, with gentle walks and generous free time.
The price includes a private driver/guide throughout, a champagne lunch on arrival, daily breakfast, a luxury spa experience, the private experience at Curraghmore House and Gardens, transportation from Dublin Airport and to Shannon Airport, and 6 nights in a 5-star or boutique hotel. Guests need to arrange their own airfare and travel insurance, and should budget for meals during free time, gratuities, and any additional tours or expenditures during free time. Two room options are available — private or shared.

Day 1 — Kilkenny Arrival, Champagne & Harp Welcome
Fly into Dublin Airport and meet your private coach and driver-guide for the transfer through the countryside to Lyrath Estate, a 5-star property just outside Kilkenny. Arrive to a champagne lunch and an Irish harp performance, then melt into the spa before a welcome dinner with fellow travellers. Overnight at Lyrath Estate.
Day 2 — Kilkenny, Waterford Private Tour & Curraghmore House
After breakfast, head to Curraghmore House in Waterford for a private tour of the house and grounds, a hawk demonstration, and lunch hosted by the Marquess and Marchioness. As the sun dips, take a guided witch-trial walk through medieval Kilkenny. Dinner is free in Kilkenny or back at the hotel. Overnight at Lyrath Estate.
Day 3 — Kilkenny, Cork, Kerry Journey
Travel south to Ballymaloe House in East Cork — the birthplace of modern Irish cuisine — for a tour of the house and gardens and lunch. Continue on to Killarney, settling into the Killarney Plaza Hotel and Spa, your base for the next four nights. Breakfast included. Overnight in Killarney.
Day 4 — Free Day and Dinner in Killarney
A free day to explore at your own pace — wander Killarney's streets, shop, or take a traditional jaunting car through Killarney National Park's lakes and woodland, with the coach available if you wish to venture further. The group reunites for dinner (first preference Hilliard's Killarney). Breakfast included. Overnight in Killarney.
Day 5 — Dingle Peninsula and Blasket Centre
Head to the Dingle Peninsula and the Slea Head Drive, walking the Atlantic beaches including Coomenoole Beach (of Ryan's Daughter fame — swimming is not safe here). Visit the Blasket Centre, honouring the islanders evacuated in 1953 and their literary legacy, then enjoy lunch in Dingle before returning to Killarney. Breakfast included. Overnight in Killarney.
Day 6 — Ring of Kerry, Derrynane House, Sneem
Drive the full Ring of Kerry via Killorglin, Glenbeigh, Cahersiveen, Waterville, and the Coomakista Pass.
